Cosmos Ecosystem Evmos Network Officially Shut Down, Official Website and Related Infrastructure Are No Longer Accessible
Deep Tide TechFlow News, May 24th, according to the Stakeflow page, the #331 "Evmos Shutdown" governance proposal for the Cosmos ecosystem EVM-compatible chain Evmos has been approved, with 99.8% of votes in favor. The proposal states that Evmos nodes will cease operation at block height 37,318,000, approximately around May 18th. Currently, Evmos block explorer, official website, and other services are inaccessible. DeFiLlama data shows its TVL has dropped to zero.
It is reported that the Evmos core development team Tharsis Labs completed a $27 million funding round led by Polychain Capital in 2022.
