FSD becomes assisted driving, regulations are bottlenecking and can't be changed, but the name shrinks while the features remain the same— is that honesty or just a trick?

Tesla China renames FSD to Tesla Assisted Driving
On May 24, Tesla China officially renamed FSD to “Tesla Assisted Driving.” The page no longer labels FSD or Autopilot, and the price still stands at 6.4 ten-thousand yuan (i.e., 64,000 yuan). Due to domestic regulatory restrictions, China’s L2-level systems must be monitored by the driver throughout the entire time and cannot be left unattended; previously, they were referred to as FSD, FSD intelligent assistance, and other names.
