Tesla China renames FSD to Tesla Assisted Driving

Abstract generation in progress
Tesla China officially renames FSD to "Tesla Assisted Driving," removing all FSD branding and references to autonomous driving on the page, while maintaining the product price at 64k yuan.
Due to domestic regulations, Level 2 driving assistance systems in China are not allowed to use misleading terms such as fully automatic or autonomous driving, prompting automakers to adjust their naming conventions.
This renaming clearly indicates that the system falls under Level 2 assisted driving, requiring the driver to monitor at all times during operation and keep their hands on the wheel.
Previously, Tesla had named its assisted driving features "FSD," "FSD Intelligent Assisted Driving," and "Smart Assisted Driving."

Full monitoring cannot be relinquished, so what is the essential difference between that and my account (ACC)?

Regulations are forcing rebranding, which is good—fewer misleads and fewer accidents.

The name shortening feature hasn't been shortened, nor has the price, which is very Tesla.

Renaming is just renaming; how much you can unlock after OTA is what truly matters

Domestic regulations being strict is correct; the road is not a laboratory.
