Lately, various social mining, points, and badges have become popular again. I’m not immune to the temptation, but when I really break it down, that little “identity” gained from staying up late to complete tasks often just means splitting my time into small pieces to sell. Honestly, points aren’t worth much; what’s valuable is your willingness to stay online for them.

Recently, I also saw the heated debate over NFT royalties—creators say they want income, the market says they want liquidity… I’m caught in the middle and just feel: if the rules change, the things we’ve been fighting for yesterday might become meaningless today. Anyway, I’d rather have less FOMO now, keep my position smaller, sleep when I can, and not let badges drain my life anymore. I really don’t want to rely on “checking in persistently” to find a sense of existence.
