Lately, I've seen a bunch of PFPs, membership cards, and brand collaborations flooding the screens. To put it simply, many times it's just borrowing attention first; only after the hype dies down do you realize if anyone is really using it. For me, whether I can survive a bear market by looking at "membership benefits" still available, or if the community is still spontaneously producing content, is more important than how detailed the avatar artwork is.

By the way, over in Layer 2, they're arguing every day about TPS, fees, and ecosystem subsidies. I think it's quite similar to the PFP logic: subsidies are just a wave of traffic; once dispersed, it's gone. Anyway, I now trust "redundancy" more—like making backups, don't put all your identity and assets into one narrative, leave some backup plans, and stay more calm.
