Iranian media refutes Trump's statement about the Strait of Hormuz "returning to normal"

On May 24, according to Fars News Agency, Iran stated that Trump's claim about the Strait of Hormuz "returning to normal" is false. Iran said that even if shipping traffic increases again, it will still have full control over the strait, including routes, timing, permits, and passage rules. Iran also stated that no nuclear commitments were discussed and that U.S. officials had told Iran that Trump's social media posts are mainly aimed at domestic media and political needs.
