Recently, I was taught a lesson by mainnet gas fees again... I clearly just wanted to move some positions, but as soon as I saw the costs, I instantly calmed down and didn't even want to reach out. Now I basically: avoid L2 for daily interactions, and when I really need to go on the mainnet, I save up and do it all at once, batch when possible, avoid unnecessary signatures, anyway don’t spend a few extra minutes saving a few dollars, that’s not how the experience should be bought.

Some people compare on-chain yield products to RWA and US bond yields, talking quite enthusiastically, but I, an ordinary person, first look at "entry and exit costs + can I withdraw anytime," otherwise I haven't even earned the yield, just paying tuition by jumping through bridges. I'm not regretful about the outcome, but about underestimating how many times I’d get itchy and want to operate a few more times... Sigh, that’s it for now.
