I can never really hold onto spot positions. And futures always makes me get carried away—then one retracement wave “educates” me… Later, I give myself a plain-language reminder: don’t let any single trade/position be so big that it affects your sleep. Put simply, only positions that can withstand volatility are positions worth having; otherwise, it’s just an emotional lottery.

Recently, in some places they keep adding taxes and tightening compliance, then loosening again. The moment expectations for deposits and withdrawals change, everyone becomes more likely to “run early / rush in early.” Even on-chain, you can feel a wave of crowding and a run-on feeling. I go out now like I’m carrying an umbrella: no matter how scary the weather forecast is, you can bring the umbrella—but don’t move the whole house. Keep some cash. Keep some way out. I’d rather make less than rely on luck and end up getting liquidated.
