I now have a small habit: after using a protocol/platform's contract authorization, I go and revoke the "unlimited" permission, otherwise I feel uneasy. To put it simply, that thing is like lending out your house key and not retrieving it; usually it's fine, but if the other party upgrades their contract, abuses permissions, or you click on a phishing link, it’s no longer just about "losing a small fee."

Recently, everyone has been complaining again about miner/validator income, MEV, and fairness in ordering, feeling that on-chain is increasingly like "whoever is at the front has the say." The more this happens, the less willing I am to leave a bunch of unknown contracts with unlimited access overnight… Revoking permissions is like checking the doors and windows before sleep—more trouble, but at least you can sleep more peacefully.
