Recently, I was once again fooled by "on-chain data": I saw that a certain pool's health was okay, and after ten minutes or so, I checked again and it had changed... It wasn't until later that I realized it wasn't on-chain deception, but that the layer I was looking at was delayed. Slow node synchronization, RPC queuing, even indexers catching up on blocks—you might be seeing the "latest" data that is actually half an hour old for someone else. To put it simply, there is also information delay on the chain, it’s just that the delay is hidden more deeply.

Lately, I've been discussing tax increases/ tighter compliance, and as deposit and withdrawal expectations change, everyone acts more urgently. I actually dare not rely on just one data source anymore. Now I check multiple RPCs, compare block heights, and before key operations, I confirm with raw transactions/events... It’s more trouble, but it’s better than self-mockery afterward. It’s frustrating, but at least the problem can be pinpointed, and the process can be gradually improved.
