These days I'm again debating: should I stick to the mainnet for the "orthodox" approach, or use L2 to save gas and make operations smoother. Honestly, regular people just have thin wallets, and every transaction makes them wince, so I mostly move small amounts to L2 now. If I want to hold long-term and need a more stable settlement feeling, I’ll go back to the mainnet to handle everything in one go. By the way, I see everyone complaining that miners/validators are getting greedier, and MEV and fairness in ordering are also mysterious... I don’t want to keep explaining either, just accept randomness. Less fussing is the fairest risk control. Anyway, I’m just sitting on this NFT old graveyard, and a floor bounce is like watching fireworks.
