Washington is in an uproar—new Federal Reserve Chair Kevin Wosh has not gone to the Federal Reserve headquarters; instead, he took his oath of office directly at the White House.

The last time this was done was back in 1987, when Reagan swore in Greenspan. Trump personally stood on the stage and said that Wosh should be “completely independent.” Do you believe it?
Who is Wosh? He is 56 years old—an old acquaintance. He served as a Federal Reserve governor as far back as 2006, the youngest kind of that. In 2017, Trump interviewed him and ultimately chose Powell. After all the twists and turns, he’s finally risen to the top.
