Is FUTU going crazy? Futu's overnight surge, short sellers: I just want to short, I didn't mean to do charity!
FUTU's recent trend can be called the "Leader of the Bull Market Atmosphere in Hong Kong and U.S. Stocks." When others rise 3%, it’s eager to rise 13%; when others are volatile, it directly launches a "wire-pulling-style surge."
Many contract traders' first reaction to FUTU is: "It's just a brokerage stock, how much can it go up?"
But in the next second, the K-line directly teaches a lesson.
Why has FUTU been so fierce lately?
The core logic is two words: activity. As long as Hong Kong stocks and Chinese concept stocks warm up, retail trading volume increases, and internet brokerages like FUTU tend to explode. The crazier the market, the more FUTU makes money. While others profit from stock trading, it profits from your frequent transactions, making it a "truly stable profit player."
From a contract perspective, FUTU is especially suitable for trend trading. Because once it starts, it often has consecutive large bullish candles, leaving no chance for shorts to get off. But because of this, it’s also prone to "high-level sky needles." Yesterday, it was a stock god; today, it might turn into a "long-term investor."
Current strategy:
If a volume breakout surpasses the previous high, consider lightly chasing long positions with the trend.
But if there's a volume decline at high levels or a long upper shadow appears, be cautious as the main force may start "inviting you into the trap."
Many beginners have a misconception here: they think that if it rises too much, it must fall.
In fact, the biggest feature of strong stocks is — the more people think it will fall, the less it actually does.
Of course, FUTU also has a hidden risk: policy. Internet finance and Chinese concept stocks are already sensitive to regulatory news; a single piece of news can turn the trend from "rocket launch" into "free fall."
So, playing FUTU contracts, the most important thing is not predicting the direction, but controlling the position size. Because you might be right about the direction, but the leverage might not withstand it.
In one sentence:
FUTU now is very much like someone winning 12 consecutive rounds in a casino — you don’t know when it will stop, but many will die guessing "the next round will lose."#TradFi交易分享挑战
