Last night I was educated again by “On-chain speech doesn’t count”… I watched the funds clearly transfer out of my wallet, but on the browser side it was still standing there as if penalized, and I almost thought I’d accidentally sent them to the wrong chain. Later I checked and remembered: nodes/RPC/indexer services are like different windows playing the same show—some are in high-definition real-time, others are still buffering. Even if the indexing service is behind, you’ll get a “plot delay,” so what you see on-chain might also be last night’s replay.

My colleague was still complaining beside me: Recently, in some areas taxes are being raised and compliance is tightened for a while, then it loosens again—the expectations for deposits and withdrawals end up making people more on edge. And the more on edge you are, the easier it is to be scared by these delays. Anyway, I’ve learned my lesson now: when I run into inconsistencies, I first check the confirmation count, then switch to another RPC to verify… Otherwise, I’ll get swept up emotionally, and this pixelated little play turns straight into a horror movie.
