This round of the "attention economy" really treats people like spinning tops... When the hot topic changes, the timeline is full of new narratives, and I get itchy to chase after it, only to find out that what I bought isn't an asset, but someone else's hype. Frankly, being repeatedly cut off isn't often because you don't understand, but because you're unwilling to admit you're just afraid of missing out.

Recently, AI Agents and automated trading are even more obvious: some people are touting stories of "fully automated passive income," while others are secretly making their interactions very cautious, with permissions, contract logic, and rollbacks all carefully scrutinized. Anyway, when I judge whether a wave is hot or not, I first look at whether the on-chain funds are "gradually coming in and going out," or if they just rush in all at once and then quickly withdraw; the latter is basically an attention harvesting machine.

Tonight, I’ll first clear out the old authorizations for my commonly used wallets, and before I get itchy, I’ll revoke the permissions.
