Nasdaq approved by the U.S. SEC to list Bitcoin index options

PANews May 23 News, according to Bloomberg, the U.S. SEC has approved a Bitcoin price-based index options product listed on Nasdaq. This product is a European-style option, based on the CME Bitcoin real-time index, settled in cash, allowing investors to directly bet on or hedge Bitcoin price fluctuations in the stock market without holding Bitcoin or Bitcoin ETFs. The product still requires approval from the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission before its official launch.
