Just saw someone interpret yet another large transfer—along with an exchange moving assets between hot and cold wallets—as “smart money”… To be blunt: the blockchain is indeed transparent. But for ordinary users, don’t romanticize “privacy.” Not putting your name on an address doesn’t mean nobody can link you together—especially once you’ve interacted with centralized entry/exit points, the compliance line is right there. My expectation is: what on-chain can really do is “increase the cost of tracking,” not make you disappear. If you really want to do anything, try not to tie a bunch of activities to the same address—don’t be lazy and do everything in one sweep just for convenience. In any case, when I see lively on-chain “interpretations,” I treat them as noise first: clean up and organize your transaction construction properly, so you’re not accidentally profiled by the crowd watching.
