These days, the hot topics keep coming one after another; the attention economy is really ruthless: whatever you focus on, that's where they start charging you "tuition."

Now I tend to ask myself first: do I really understand the logic, or am I just being pushed along by the timeline?
Honestly, if I can avoid chasing, I will; missing out is okay, and one less impulsive trade is more useful than watching ten K-line charts.

And then there are those who get emotionally overwhelmed whenever "policy changes," especially when a certain region raises taxes or tightens regulations, then loosens them again; when deposit and withdrawal expectations fluctuate, the group starts to become collectively euphoric or panicked.
I usually cut my position small and wait for the volatility to shift from emotion to price before acting—don't use the first second as fuel.

My mom asked me a couple of days ago: "Is it because the news says they’re going to tighten controls that you all want to run?"
I could only say half a sentence: it’s not about running, it’s about not using leverage to bet on narratives you haven’t verified; anyway, I don’t touch those toys I don’t understand.
Let’s leave it at that.
