The U.S. Department of Defense discloses the second batch of UFO-related documents
The U.S. Department of Defense announced on Friday the second batch of Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena (UAP) documents, including Unidentified Flying Object (UFO) data, covering a total of 222 historical records, including information such as photos and videos. This is the second batch of related documents released by the U.S. government since the 8th of this month.
Some of the newly released documents involve anomalous aerial phenomena near U.S. military facilities in New Mexico in the late 1940s to the early 1950s, as well as unidentified target imagery and reports collected in recent years by the U.S. military and government agencies.
On the 8th of this month, the U.S. Department of Defense published the first batch of more than 160 UFO-related documents on a dedicated government website. The department’s chief spokesperson, Parnell, said that after the documents were uploaded, website visits had exceeded 1 billion, showing the public’s high level of interest in the issue. The authorities are working with relevant organizations to prepare for the release of a third batch of documents.
