I followed this interview of Mario Nawfal with Justin Sun and there are some very interesting things coming out that are worth processing.

First, the guy has ambitions beyond TRON itself. He wants to be the first crypto founder to go to space, is planning to open an art gallery in Hong Kong, involved with gaming and decentralized stablecoins. But the main focus remains on TRON, which, according to him, is on a serious expansion trajectory. The annual revenue is around $2 to $2.5 billion with monthly growth reaching 30%. Basically covering all possible asset classes, from stablecoins to DeFi, NFTs, and even government bonds.

What caught my attention is the vision on decentralization. Sun made it clear that he wants to make TRON independent of himself in the long run. He wants central banks and sovereign governments to join the network. It’s a heavy bet on the protocol’s autonomy.

In the conversation with Mario Nawfal, the more speculative side also came out. Sun touches on AI as a tool for issuing, trading, and managing assets. He recognizes that the opportunities are huge but the risks are still high right now. He believes that AI and DAOs will completely transform the venture capital landscape, possibly replacing traditional models.

But there’s an important warning that came with this interview. Sun predicts that this bull market could end because of a logical vulnerability in some AI project or even a larger collapse. He compared it to historical events like the DAO hack that caused a huge shock in the market. It’s like a warning about the potential systemic impact if something goes wrong on the AI side.

Regarding Bitcoin, the forecast is that 2025 will be super bullish. Sun expects Bitcoin to surpass $100,000 or even reach $200,000, with major banks potentially officially accepting crypto. Bitcoin is currently at $76K, so there’s still room for his thesis.

Overall, the conversation shows Justin Sun thinking well beyond TRON, but positioning the network as the central infrastructure for all of this. Mario Nawfal managed to get a very interesting perspective on where he sees the crypto space heading in the coming years.
