Here's an interesting story about Elon Musk's brother. Kimball Musk recently wrote a critique of Trump on X, saying that he imposed maximum taxes for generations through his tariffs. It's funny that Kimball himself is a billionaire, with around 700 million, mostly thanks to Tesla shares. But there is no discord between the brothers; they love each other very much, even if they don't always agree on politics.
What I learned about Kimball: he's 52 years old, and he's really known for his signature — always wearing a cowboy hat. He has a lot in common with Elon: both were born in Pretoria, have similar facial features, and green eyes. Both hold South African, Canadian, and U.S. citizenship. But while Elon is involved in space and electric vehicles, Kimball is more focused on charity and ecology.
It turns out the Musk family went through tough times. Kimball, his sister Tosca, and Elon faced violence in childhood, which led their mother to divorce in 1979. After that, the family moved to Canada and the U.S.. By the way, both brothers launched the startup Zip2 together, which was involved in internet business software. In 1999, they sold it to Compaq for $307 million. Not a bad start to a career, right?
