Recently, social mining has become competitive again, with everyone shouting at you to check in, post, recruit people to earn points, making it seem like if you don’t participate, you’ll lose forever… I’m just someone who finds it troublesome but also has a mischievous streak. Seeing badges light up does feel a bit satisfying, but honestly, most of the time it’s just wasting time for a sense of “identity.”

What’s even more outrageous is that in the group, they’re discussing stablecoin regulation and reserve audits, while also sharing screenshots of “de-pegged, run fast,” with emotions running high. I have to switch back to complete tasks and stay active. It really feels like being led around by the nose by the platform. Anyway, I’ve set a rule for myself now: I can earn points, but I won’t turn my daily routine into a task flow. If I miss out, I miss out. That’s it for now.
