Lately, I've been a bit annoyed by testing network tasks. It was originally just to practice and get familiar with the interactions, but everyone defaulted to "there must be airdrops," and I ended up grinding it out as expected. Honestly, the idea of expectations is the easiest way to get people hooked: multiple accounts, waiting at faucets, repeatedly checking in, the more time you invest, the harder it is to stop.

My current stop-loss setup is pretty simple: spend at most two nights plus a little Gas on each chain, and stop if I go over, no matter how much the group brags about "this L2 subsidy is strong, TPS is high, and fees are low." Listening to the hype is fine, but the bigger the subsidy, the more it resembles high-APR schemes. The trap might not blow up immediately, but sooner or later, you'll pay with your time. Anyway, I’d rather miss out than hand over my life to "possible rewards." That’s it for now.
