Over the past two years, social mining, points, badges, and all that stuff have felt like we’re back to the days when ICOs were flying everywhere—only the “white paper” has been replaced with a “task panel.” To put it plainly, points really can work as a ticket, but in many cases they’re more like the knobs on an old radio: you turn them and turn them until you forget what program you originally wanted to listen to… So I’m setting myself an alarm: don’t spend more than half an hour a day on tasks—once it’s up, let it go. Don’t hollow out your time for a badge.

And lately, cross-chain bridges have been having issues again, and the oracle price feeds glitch out. In the group chat, the consensus immediately turns into “wait for confirmation.” At times like this, you realize: it’s not about how many badges you’ve pinned on your identity—it’s about whether you can keep your nerve steady and whether you’re willing to wait for one more K-line. Points can be accumulated slowly, but if your mindset breaks, it’s not so easy to repair.
