Seeing a whale move, do you want to follow the order? I understand that itchy feeling, but before you really follow, stay calm: is he building a position, or opening a counter-position elsewhere to hedge? That on-chain transaction looks like a "buy," but it might just be to top up margin, arbitrage, or shuffle the position structure. To put it simply, big players don't need to prove the direction is right to you; as long as they don't blow up overall, that's enough. We small investors follow along and are most likely to be shaken off by a false move. Recently, the NFT royalty debate also seems similar: creators want income, secondary markets want liquidity, and in the end, retail investors are busy chasing back and forth across different markets... Anyway, I now treat the "smart money" label as noise; wait until the positions and liquidity align before acting.
