According to Bloomberg ETF analyst Eric Balchunas, the Chairman of the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) is seeking public input on forecasting market ETFs. Eric Balchunas pointed out that the commission is clearly researching and considering such products and hopes to gather more time and opinions. He believes that forecasting market ETFs are a completely new thing (similar to cryptocurrencies), and regulators want to ensure their safety before officially opening access.
