CryptoWorld News reports that the Malaysian government has recently introduced several measures to address disruptions in the global supply chain caused by the Middle East conflict, aiming to secure supplies, stabilize prices, strengthen subsidies, develop alternative energy sources, reinforce the recycling industry, and enhance the resilience of the national economy.
Economy Minister Akmal Nasrullah stated that the government will focus on ensuring stable supplies of food, energy, medicines, and essential goods, curb price increases, strengthen subsidy management, and seize new opportunities in alternative energies such as biodiesel and sustainable fuels.
Deputy Minister of Investment, Trade, and Industry Shen Zhiqin said that the government is formulating new measures to strengthen the local recycling industry, reduce dependence on imported raw materials like plastics and polyethylene terephthalate (PET), and improve the resilience of the national supply chain.
