Abstract generation in progress
CryptoWorld News reports that Harbor Capital is applying for a series of "Laboratory ETFs" related to artificial intelligence, with targets including Anthropic, Google DeepMind, Meta, OpenAI, and XAI. The company has submitted applications planning to launch five actively managed "Laboratory ETFs," each focusing on companies related to a specific laboratory ecosystem. According to documents filed with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, Harbor Capital is reshaping its actively managed product line, planning to introduce a series of generative AI-themed strategies to expand its existing Harbor Scientific Alpha series. Although detailed prospectuses for each Laboratory ETF have not yet been made public, analyst James Seyffart stated that these funds aim to hold publicly traded companies closely related to the models, tools, and distribution associated with specific laboratories.

Generative AI is now fluctuating in valuation; active management might truly be able to deliver excess returns.
