Today it’s raining and the traffic is jammed again, cars stop and go, and suddenly I think of the smell of queuing in the mempool… You initiate a transaction, which is basically like putting “I need to handle this” into the waiting hall first, and everyone is competing to see who’s more urgent (which is also who’s willing to pay higher fees for miners/packagers to see first). When there’s congestion: you think you’ve sent it out, but it’s actually stuck and not on the chain; or you get stuck in the middle for a long time, and in the end, it fails and you still have to pay a “toll.” I now try not to chase after changing fees wildly when I’m emotional, anyway don’t be hard on yourself, if you can wait, wait; if you can’t, then think through your position clearly before confirming. When it comes to on-chain games with inflation + studio squeezing, as the coin price spirals, the on-chain environment also gets noisier, queue experience worsens, and it’s really double traffic jams.
