I recently discovered a pretty interesting way to make money on Telegram without investing, and these are cryptocurrency games called tap-to-earn. Honestly, they’ve become very popular on the platform over the past few months.
The idea is simple: tap, earn points, and those points eventually turn into real cryptocurrency tokens. The best part is you don’t need to put any money out of your pocket to get started. Hamster Kombat is probably the most well-known now, with over 300 million users since its launch in March. The game lets you control a virtual cryptocurrency exchange and level up as you tap. What’s interesting is that it’s not just random clicking; you need to spend your points on upgrades and bonuses to maximize your earnings per hour. They’ve already launched their HMSTR token, which is trading on several exchanges.
Notcoin was the one that started this whole trend when it debuted on January 1, 2024. It’s super simple: tap on a giant gold coin on your screen. But you have limited energy, so you need to complete missions to keep playing. What I liked is that you can compete in rankings or form “nations” with friends, making the experience more social.
Catizen is different because it involves raising virtual cats to build a city. The more cats you have, the more tokens you generate. They recently launched their CATI token, which increased significantly in value after launch, so early players made good gains.
Rocky Rabbit is another one gaining traction. Here, you train a rabbit to fight against other players’ rabbits. You need to spend points on training, but there are tournaments with prizes that help you climb the rankings. They’ve already launched RBTC on several exchanges.
X Empire is basically a version where you control an investment empire instead of a hamster. It has over 40 million players and is on the waiting list to launch its token.
TapSwap attracts many players because it offers generous daily rewards, up to 40,000 tokens per day. Over 60 million users play here. They plan to launch TAPS on October 30.
And then there’s Major, created by the same developer as Friends Factory. In this one, you tap to earn stars, which can then be exchanged for tokens. There are missions, puzzles, roulette wheels, and you can form teams with other players.
What’s interesting about all this is that once the tokens reach exchanges, anyone can invest in them, even if you don’t play. But if you’re already playing, you’re basically accumulating value without spending anything. It’s a pretty creative way to make money on Telegram without initial capital investment. Of course, all of this carries risks, like any cryptocurrency token, but the entry barrier is zero if you just want to play and see what happens.
