Recently, cross-chain bridges have been hacked again. Watching a bunch of people in the group shout "wait for confirmation," I also quietly pull my hand back from "rush in immediately"... To be honest, security really depends on the size of your assets.

Right now, I have: small amounts (the little I’m willing to lose) in a hot wallet, for convenience; for amounts that would hurt if lost, I use a hardware wallet, at least signatures aren’t flying around on the computer; for larger amounts, I really don’t want to rely on my shaky hands to decide the fate, I use multi-signature, having multiple people press the brakes together—though troublesome, it’s more reassuring. I’m quite envious of social recovery, especially that feeling of "can be recovered even if lost," but I’m also a bit afraid of social debts/contact changes... Anyway, I’m still trying, first putting the big risks into the simplest plan, impulsive as I am, don’t be blind.
