Having traded for many years, from a novice losing money by chasing gains and panicking to sell, to a stable trader who integrates knowledge and action, I finally understand: trading has never been a game of seeking huge profits, but a long-term practice of fighting human nature, coexisting with rules, and reconciling with oneself. The market is never short of smart people; what’s lacking are those who can control their desires, stick to discipline, and respect risk. All short-term lucky gains will eventually be returned to the market; only systems, mindset, and risk management can enable us to stand firm in the capital markets for the long term.
