Today, I was sitting with tea watching the mempool, and I just realized there’s a long line between “I clicked send” and “on-chain confirmed.” When the network is congested, your transaction first enters the waiting room, and if the gas fee is low, it gets left behind, while later transactions with higher fees cut in line. You can only wait patiently or resubmit with a higher fee. The most annoying thing is seeing transactions stuck in pending on the block explorer, occasionally spotting transactions like 0x7a3…d91 being bumped by the same address, as if they’re cutting in line. Honestly, at this point, it’s easy to lose patience: it’s not that I don’t have the money, I just don’t have the patience. By the way, recently the community has been arguing about the compliance boundaries of privacy coins/mixers. I find it quite divided — some shout for freedom, others worry about transaction monitoring. In the end, everyone is voting with their feet in the mempool: if it can be confirmed faster, then confirm it quickly; other issues can be debated another day. Anyway, I prefer to keep it simple during congestion — slow is fine, I don’t want to fight with myself.
