Stopping losses is really quite similar to breaking up; the more you think "give it one more chance," the easier you are to be dragged into an emotional breakdown, ultimately losing even the interest (time + attention). NFTs are the same—once the narrative collapses and liquidity thins out, I usually just accept it, mint and then close the software, playing dead to save trouble. Recently, I saw cross-chain bridges having issues again, and oracles giving erratic quotes, with a bunch of people in the group "waiting for confirmation" until dawn... Honestly, what are they confirming? The risk has already confirmed you first. You say, "Wait a bit longer, it might rebound"—I get it, but what I’m more afraid of now is dragging it out so long that there's no way to exit anymore.
