My current on-chain principles are quite cautious: if I can handle it on L2, I prefer not to spend gas on the mainnet, the experience is indeed smoother, transferring a few times, switching a few times doesn't hurt; but if I really need to store large amounts, change permissions, or link contracts, I still grit my teeth and do it once on the mainnet, slow is slow, at least I feel more at ease. Recently, the wave of AI Agents and automated trading has heated up again, everyone says "fully automatic trading for you," but I'm actually more concerned about what exactly you're signing, whether permissions are set to unlimited... Honestly, the gas saved might not even cover the cost of a single authorization accident. I'm most afraid of not losing money, but not knowing who is actually controlling my funds. Anyway, I just stay pessimistic in words, but in practice, I still prefer to slowly accumulate good L2s and add a little at a time, for now.
