Many people do not understand that a retest is not just a return to a level, but actually one of the best entry points. I noticed that when the price breaks through an important level and then returns to it, it acts like a magnet.

Here's what happens in practice: the price goes up, touches the level, and reverses. This means there is significant supply there. And that's where it gets interesting. Every time the price approaches such a level again, it exerts influence. It doesn't matter whether you're looking at a five-minute chart or a daily chart, the essence is the same.

What amazes me is the universality of this phenomenon. There is not a single pattern or figure that doesn't rely on this. A retest is a kind of market regularity. Important zones always attract and repel the price, like magnets.

Personally, I’ve learned to wait. I used to open positions right on the breakout, but then I realized that patience pays off. A retest gives you a more favorable entry point if you're willing to wait. Of course, a breakout strategy also has its place, but control and timing are a whole different level.

If you want to understand this more deeply, save the post. This is a fundamental principle that works across all timeframes.
