Recently, I've seen a bunch of people talking about LST and re-staking, and honestly, the returns aren't just falling from the sky: either staking rewards from block production or using the "same security" to get endorsements from other protocols for some subsidies. The problem is that the risks stack up too: de-pegging, contract permissions, operators signing transactions recklessly, re-staking being penalized or confiscated (you think you're earning interest, but you're actually selling guarantees). Some people are using LST to collateralize and leverage everywhere, and I get nervous just watching their private keys... By the way, regarding a certain public chain's recent upgrade/maintenance, everyone guesses whether to migrate or not. I just want to say, whether you migrate or not doesn't matter; don’t click on random links or approve permissions during the announcement period. If something goes wrong, don’t blame the "chain's insecurity." I personally keep my assets layered, signing only when necessary, to keep things simple.
