Recently, someone has been watching large on-chain transfers and hot/cold wallets on exchanges and shouting "Smart money is coming." Others think that just following addresses can copy trades, but in reality, it's mostly just moving funds and risk control adjustments, with emotions leading the way.


For someone like me who values logic, saving gas is also about the same: the mainnet is of course the most "authentic," but small, frequent transactions are really unsustainable. Anyway, I treat the mainnet as the settlement layer, accumulating enough funds before going up;
For daily interactions and trying new things, I use L2 to have a smoother experience and keep my mindset from being easily shattered by one or two transaction fees.
Just don’t get too carried away when bridging back and forth—it's still important to check the bridges and authorizations.
The gas saved shouldn’t end up paying for accidents in the end.
