Golden Finance reports that on May 22, on-chain investigator ZachXBT posted that the UMA CTF Adapter contract deployed on Polygon by Polymarket may have been attacked, resulting in a loss of over $520k. The attacker's address begins with 0x8F98.
This contract is responsible for connecting the UMA optimistic oracle with Gnosis Conditional Tokens for market settlement. The scope of the incident and the potential impact on existing open markets are still unclear.
