US Spot Bitcoin ETFs Lose $648.6M in Biggest Daily Outflow Since January

U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs posted $648.6 million in net outflows on May 18, marking their largest one-day redemption since Jan. 29. The withdrawals followed $1 billion of outflows in the prior week and ended a six-week streak of positive flows. BlackRock's IBIT led the day with $448.3 million in outflows, while ARKB and Fidelity's FBTC also posted large redemptions. Bitcoin fell below $77,000 over the weekend as analysts linked the move to geopolitical tension, higher oil prices, and broader macro uncertainty.
