Last night almost had a crash, but it’s not the kind of leverage wipeout that’s exciting, it’s the dumber kind: I previously gave a contract an “unlimited authorization” with a casual click, and today when I wanted to switch addresses and tidy up, I found that it was still active… People are now clear-headed. To put it simply, revoking authorization is just as important as sleeping: if you don’t turn off the lights or lock the door, you’ll eventually be scared later.

What’s even funnier is that I checked the tags on the on-chain data tools, and it showed “Safe/Popular,” but isn’t everyone complaining recently that the tagging system is lagging and might even mislead? My conclusion now is very simple: don’t trust tags too much, trust yourself to manually revoke permissions thoroughly. Anyway, I’d rather have fewer “approvals” than wake up to a forced liquidation (this time it was my wallet being liquidated). That’s all for now.
