This Friday, the cryptocurrency market is relatively calm, with Bitcoin fluctuating around $77,000. Regarding the price of Bitcoin on May 22nd, I am betting on $76,000-$78,000.
1. Technical Expert Analysis
1-day cycle: MA arrangement remains bullish, but ADX at 32.03 indicates a weak trend; CCI at -78.58 is in a deeply oversold area; WR at -88.01 is approaching oversold; SAR at 82,215 is well above the current price (a high stop-loss level suggests the trend has not yet reversed); RSI is neutral to slightly low. The daily bullish framework is still intact, but short-term momentum is clearly weakening.
4-hour cycle: ADX at 44.40 (moderate trend strength), CCI at -130.85 (extremely bearish), MA arrangement is neutral, RSI is neutral to slightly weak, WR at -81.84 (oversold), SAR at 79,381. The 4H trend direction is ambiguous, momentum is bearish, and the price is oscillating between 76,725 and 78,087.
1-hour cycle: ADX at 38.53 (moderate to strong trend strength), CCI at -65.35 (bearish), MA arrangement is bearish, RSI around 33.91 (approaching oversold), SAR at 77,531 (above the current price), WR at -76.69 (oversold). The short-term trend is clearly bearish, but RSI nearing oversold suggests a technical rebound may be needed in the short term.
Summary: Bitcoin has a short-term rebound demand, but the rebound will likely not be too large because medium-term indicators are bearish, making it difficult to break through today’s high of 78,050.
2. The news is mostly false or has no substantial change
The US and Iran keep tit-for-tat, and today there is news that “the final draft of the US-Iran agreement has been reached through Pakistan mediation,” but its authenticity remains to be verified. Both sides are pushing to their limits; the US hints that negotiations are making significant progress, while Iran coldly responds that they will not compromise on the “uranium enrichment” issue. Overall, the situation is still deadlocked, and no substantial news is expected to emerge. Additionally, Pakistan is currently in pilgrimage season, making full mediation difficult.
Therefore, I believe Bitcoin’s price on May 22nd will be between $76,000 and $78,000. My betting strategy is to bet now, with about one-fifth of my position.
