CryptoWorld News reports that the European Union Council has decided to expand the legal framework for sanctions against Iran, including actions related to Iran's "threats to the freedom of navigation in the Middle East" within the scope of sanctions. This revision is an adjustment to the existing restrictive measures the EU has imposed on Iran. After the revision, the EU will also impose sanctions on individuals and entities involved in or supporting Iran's "threats to the freedom of navigation in the Middle East" actions and policies.
