Lately, I've been seeing everyone arguing again about whether to continue collecting royalties in the secondary market. Honestly, I feel quite conflicted. On one hand, I think creators also need to make a living; writing songs, drawing, and making series are not just air. On the other hand, the small transaction fees in the secondary market already make people hesitant, and adding a "mandatory" fee causes liquidity to tighten. In the end, even those who want to support might withdraw. It’s more like: you want to write a love letter, but the more stamps you put on, the harder it is to send the letter.

What I care about more now is that the rules don’t keep changing back and forth. Today, they say they respect creators; tomorrow, they open a "zero royalty channel." Everyone pretends to be decent, but in the end, only creators are left awkward. By the way, the recent tearing between privacy coins/mixers and compliance boundaries is quite similar to this: ideals and reality pulling in opposite directions, everyone thinks they are in the right. Anyway, I’ll just watch and buy slowly. If you really want to support, just tip or buy the first release directly. Don’t romanticize the secondary market too much.
