These days, I've seen a bunch of "social mining" and "fan tokens" flooding the screens, talking about how attention is mining... I admit I fall for it too, seeing attractive NFTs makes me itchy, but being pulled along by hot topics repeatedly is really tiring. Later, I found that the most effective thing isn't researching more terms, but slowing down: when a trending topic just starts, I don't act immediately, I put it in my favorites, and check again the next night to see if I still want to go for it. Many times, it cools off the next day, and only the remaining ones are worth me spending money on. Anyway, I’ve set a rule for myself now: be a bit slower, chase one less round, better to miss out than to fuel the hype.
