Hello everyone, I just came across an interesting analysis that shows where the US dollar is most valuable. It concerns the weakest currencies in the world in various countries struggling with serious economic problems.

The most extreme cases are truly shocking: Venezuela tops the list, where 1 USD is worth about 4 million Bolivars. The Iranian Rial follows closely behind with around 514,000 IRR per dollar. Then there are countries like Laos, Sierra Leone, and Lebanon, where national currencies have lost massive value. Even in larger economies like Indonesia or Iraq, significant devaluations are visible.

What surprised me: Countries like Vietnam, Pakistan, and Bangladesh are also on the list. This shows that economic instability and currency devaluation are global phenomena. The weakest currency in the world is not just a local problem but often a symptom of deeper structural challenges.

Interestingly, the list ranges from hyperinflationary countries to states with chronic balance of payments deficits. Some are dealing with sanctions, others with political instability. When you see these data, it becomes clear why so many people in these regions seek alternatives—whether through fleeing into foreign currencies or other assets.

Anyone working regularly with international markets should keep these developments in mind. Currency stability is an important indicator of a country’s overall economic health.
