The short sellers just said "top out," HYPE hits a new high the next second: The most ruthless face-slapping scene in the crypto world
If there's been a "comedy of the year" in the crypto circle recently, HYPE would definitely be nominated.
Because every day, there are passionate short sellers posting:
"The top has arrived!"
And within the next hour, the price hits a new high.
The comments are very honest:
"Teacher, are your short positions okay?"
The most classic part of this market movement isn't the increase in price, but the "continuous short squeeze."
Many people aren't buying proactively at all, but are forced to buy back.
What does that mean?
After short sellers suffer losses and get liquidated;
liquidation essentially means automatic buying;
then the price continues to rise.
This creates a death spiral.
So now, the biggest bullish force in HYPE is actually the shorts themselves.
How do I see it now?
In the short term, it still leans towards strength.
Because market sentiment hasn't truly receded.
As long as there are people continuously shorting, there is still room to be squeezed.
But the problem is also here:
Once no one dares to short,
the market could become dangerous.
Because what is the biggest fear of a short squeeze?
It's "fuel running out."
When everyone in the market starts to turn bullish,
the buying power to absorb the sell-offs will weaken.
So I won't blindly shout "go all-in to 100."
I prefer:
Buy low in an upward trend;
reduce positions during sharp rallies.
Many people always want to capture the entire wave, but the reality is:
Getting 60% of the middle move already surpasses most people.
The biggest taboo is turning profits into losses.
Especially since sentiment in the crypto world changes extremely fast.
Today, it's "the new king on the chain";
Tomorrow, it might turn into "the zeroing legend."
HYPE now looks very much like the hottest gambling table in a casino.
People are crowded around,
chips stacking higher and higher,
everyone thinks they can keep winning.
And at such times, it's often when risks quietly start to approach.
