Morning commute checking on-chain data made me anxious again… For the same transaction, I saw it confirmed on Wallet A, but B was still spinning. Later I realized: you think you're looking at “on-chain,” but actually you're looking at what nodes/RPC/indexers relay to you. If the node syncs slowly, RPC rate limits, or the indexer hasn't finished processing, you'll think you've missed interactions or snapshots. When you're itching to click again, the witch boundary starts alerting in your mind. Anyway, now when I encounter this, I first switch to a different RPC, then check the block height, preferring to confirm ten minutes late rather than make chaotic corrections. Recently, I heard some regions are raising taxes and tightening compliance, then loosening again, causing deposit and withdrawal expectations to fluctuate… making it easier to fixate on those few minutes of on-chain delay and overthink. For now, that's it—don't let the “late on-chain” rhythm set the pace.
