Lately I’ve been getting overwhelmed by messages in the group—my head’s been spinning. On one side, it’s “Quick, check out this opportunity.” On the other, some KOL’s long post lays out the logic. Plainly put, the only one impulsively buying is—me. Group chat messages are like noise amplifiers, and KOLs are like loudspeakers that package probability into stories. Neither will take responsibility for your drawdowns.

I usually do a quick check: for the assets that are being hyped up, who’s actually buying on-chain? Is it a rush of new addresses, or are older wallets slowly accumulating? If it’s “emotion first, data can’t keep up,” I treat it as information overload looking for an exit. Recently, modular and DA-layer narratives are also quite typical—developers get excited, but when users can’t make sense of it, they’re often even easier to be steered by persuasive wording.

Next time, I’m planning to add one more rule for myself: when I see a hot topic, I’ll wait an hour before placing an order, and during that time I’ll only look at two on-chain charts. What little “anti-impulse” habits do you have?
