The airdrop season is back again, and the task platforms' anti-witchcraft measures make everyone feel like clocking in at work.

As I was doing it, I thought about the tax reporting at the end of the year...
Honestly, what can really drive people crazy isn't losing money, but not being able to figure out "which platform did I do this on."
My current method is pretty crude: every time I deposit/withdraw/exchange/close a position, I put the exchange-exported records, on-chain hashes, and screenshots into the same folder,
and name the files with the date + platform + reason.
I also casually write a note in a spreadsheet saying "this is a hedge leg / spot replenishment / options insurance."
But it’s pretty annoying too; sometimes I get itchy in the middle of the night and open a few trades, then only log them the next day,
and the more I delay, the more I want to pretend I’m dead...
Anyway, I’d rather spend two extra minutes at the moment than end up digging through browser history like an archeologist at the end of the year.
